In these days, the term "Ascended" is mostly identified with Shurima. And what people know of them is that they all hail from the desert lands. However, this is but a popular misconception, as there are in fact many types of Ascended. There are the God-Warriors, the most familiar of the forms. The Darkin, Sunborn who were deviated by blood magic. The aspects, personifications of celestial power from Mount Targon. All of these are in fact Ascended in their own way. But then there are the Baccai, those who failed to ascend. They were transformed into twisted and malformed versions of their Sunborn counterparts. Though essentially the same to their more respected brethren, they were not revered for whatever power they might have, as it is a kindness to end their lives as fast as possible. Although if people would've given them the opportunity, the Baccai would've presented themselves as worthy assets to the Shurima. Alas, the sight of a Baccai only warrants that they die immediately. For most of them, it is not a problem. But for Shaharyx, it very much is. Yet another failed Ascended, Shaharyx's appearance only warrants that he be mercy killed like all the other Baccai. However, Shaharyx refused, and subsequently murdered his would-be executioners. And then, almost immediately at the thick of the night, Shaharyx flew away from Shurima. Over the course millennia, people across Runeterra to have seen a black bird flying in the sky. Though only if they knew that it was in fact Shaharyx, the Baccai who wishes to prove his worth. And he has been working very hard to achieve that. Not only for himself, but for all the Baccai who have lost their lives to failed ascension. For what is important to him is that Runeterra know that even that which appears a monster, can be beneficial to the world. So Shaharyx continues his self-given purpose of endless endeavors and hopefully, Runeterra kind might just look back at its errors and regret.

Shaharyx is a Baccai, a failed ascended. He appears as a malformed bird-like humanoid with large wings in ancient Shuriman fashion.

Shaharyx shoots dark energy in a line, dealing 80/110/140/170/200 (+60% AP) to the first enemy hit and stunning them for 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2 seconds.

Twisted Talons
50 Mana | 10 seconds (-0.5 every rank) | 500 Target Range
Shaharyx dashes in a target direction, dealing 55/85/115/145/175 (+55% AP) to all enemies. Shaharyx can recast the ability after 1 second to return to the location from where he activated the first cast, dealing the same amount of magic damage to all enemies he passes through. The recast will become unavailable after 2.25 seconds or if Shaharyx moves 800 units away from the location of the first activation.

Passive: Shaharyx leaves combat 1/1.5/2/2.5/3 seconds earlier than usual.
Active: After channeling for 3 seconds, Shaharyx takes flight. During this mode, Shaharyx becomes untargetable, becomes ghosted and ignores terrain collision, and gains double his movement speed while ignoring movement speed diminishing returns. Shaharyx cannot attack nor cast abilities in this state, but only move and if he somehow takes damage despite his untargetability, he will be forced to land. By recasting Black Wings, Shaharyx will land after a 3 second delay. Black Wings can only be cast out of combat.

Shaharyx targets an enemy champion. Afterwards, he grabs them and flies with them into the air for 1 second, suppressing them for the duration. He then comes slamming on to the ground, dealing 150/275/400 (+100% AP) (+12/14/16% of the target's bonus health) to them and all enemies in the area. If Shaharyx used Twisted Talons' first cast but prior to the second cast, then he will land at the location from where Twisted Talons was originally casted.
