Scaldus
Primary Role: Assassin

Background
Lore:
If you're a cutthroat captain with a ship and a crew to behold, you're feared. If you’re one of many harbor-men reeking of entrails from gutting scores of fish, you're dirt. Because in Bilgewater, "kindness" and "generosity" and all the nice things are exempt from this filth of a town. Because if you as so much let your guard down even for a second, you will find your back riddled with cutlasses. But even among Bilgerat, there are those that stand above and those that stand below. And they full well recognize each other's place in the pecking order of piracy. However, it doesn't matter, for all those who live outside of Bilgewater will always view the Bilgerat as nothing more than scum, regardless of reputation. But even among the Bilgerats, there are those who are below the scums. Some never heard about; others completely forgotten. Once they are done with, they are tossed into the ocean like garbage. For that is how the Bilgerat views its slaves. Orphaned children or kidnapped, children who ran away or had their house burnt down, the slave trade of Bilgewater consists of those who had it worse in life the usual Bilgerat. And these children, they continue to be slaves. Among the most veteran of them is Scaldus. For fourteen years of his life, he remembers nothing but carrying boxes and getting whipped on his back, surrounded by the constant smell of rotting fish and their entrails, Scaldus never got accustomed to his place as a slave. And he'll never accept his place as a slave. All he cares about is decapitating the men who burned his house and left him alive and made him a slave. But despite the harsh conditions, among the slaves, Scaldus is a figure to behold due to the years he endured as a slave, as he is the most veteran. But respect or admiration from his fellow slaves means nothing to Scaldus, for he cares only about revenge. And though he always wanted it, he never quite knew how to get it. There were no windows for planning or relaxing; no one would give him the chance. Though one fateful day in the job would finally change that. As he was cutting off the tentacles of octopi for those who wish to eat it, he noticed that there was one missing from the list, as it did not match the numbers. Scaldus looked around for the renegade, but he couldn't find it. Until he noticed that one of the boxes did not match the shape of the others. As he approached the odd box, it immediately slithered away as it revealed its true shape. Realizing the power of the octopus to hide itself in plain sight, it finally came to Scaldus what he must do. Over the course of several months, Scaldus would collect octopus skin and eventually use it to make a cloak. And then, afterwards, Scaldus just disappeared. Slavers would walk into warehouses, only to never leave it. Other slavers would walk in some time later, only to find bodies riddled with holes, supposedly made by a rusty harpoon. And the one who whipped Scaldus day after day? He was found drawn and quartered, hanging from the ceiling… by his entrails. And as time went by, more slaves were liberated, and more slavers were dead. The slave trade of Bilgewater is falling apart, and none of them know why. What force is out there trying to liberate the slaves of Bilgewater? They can't even comprehend why anyone would want such a thing. It didn't matter at all, as they found themselves facing a problem whose face they can't even see. It could be anywhere; it could anyone; it could be anything. Watch your back and don't blink. But most importantly, don't stay too close to the walls.
Appearance:
Scaldus is a young slave of Bilgewater, roughly the age of 19. His face is riddled with scars to emphasize his life as a slave who was tortured to perform various tasks. He wears his signature cloak made of octopus skin, which he also wears with a hood. Though his torn and dirty pants are exposed, which were given to Bilgewater slaves, and he is bare feet. He carries a rusty spear with him, which he uses to conduct all of his kills.

Abilities
In the Walls
Whenever Scaldus is adjacent to terrain out of combat, he is camouflaged indefinitely (camouflage radius: 150 units).
Notes:
Rusty Plug
40 mana | 8 seconds | 450 Target Range | 0.15 Cast Time
Scaldus thrusts his Rusty Spear in a target direction, dealing 60/80/100/120/140 (+85% AD) physical damage. Afterwards, the Spear remains embedded in the target based on the direction from where Scaldus attacked (left, right, up or down). After 3 basic attacks or Under Your Nose against the target in the direction of the Spear, the target is dealt an additional 75/90/105/120/135 (+15% bonus AD) true damage. Rusty Plug resets Scaldus' basic attack timer.
Notes: the directional mechanic of the Scaldus is the same as Fiora's.
Under Your Nose
40 Mana (+5 every rank) | 12 seconds (-1 every rank) | 500 Cast Range
Scaldus targets an enemy. Afterwards, he vanishes for 0.3 second and reappears by the target's side, dealing 60/70/80/90/100 (+70% AD) physical damage and slowing them by 40% for 1.5 second. If the target has the Rusty Spear embedded in them, then Scaldus will reappear at the side of where the Spear is embedded, as well thrusting it further against the target.
Notes:
Elusive Octopus
50 Mana | 22 seconds (-2 every rank) | 300/650 Dash Range (minimum/maximum)
Scaldus dashes in a target direction, immediately leaving combat regardless of the situation, becoming invisible for the dash and his next basic attack within 5 seconds deals 20 (+3 every level) bonus magic damage. Elusive Octopus' cooldown refreshes whenever Scaldus walks into brush. Scaldus cannot refresh the cooldown of Elusive Octopus using the same brush for 40/35/30/25/20 seconds. If Scaldus attacks a target that has the Rusty Spear embedded in them, then he will reappear by the side of the Spear.
Notes:
End to the Slave Trade
100 Mana | 120 seconds (-20 every rank) | 800 Cast Range | 250 Effect Radius | 0.25s Cast Time
Scaldus activates his trap at a target location, dealing 150/250/350 (+100% AD) (+50% AP) magic damage to all enemies and trapping them within boundaries for 3.5 seconds.
Notes: The ability visually appears as crates falling and then surrounding the enemy. Although gameplay-wise, Scaldus never really had the time to set up a trap at a desired location.
It should also be noted, just in case it wasn't obvious, that this ability creates impassible terrain.
