Gaigahn
Primary Role: Juggernaut
Secondary Role: N/A
Background
Lore:
The gardens of Ionia are a sacred place. Then again, all of Ionia is sacred, at least as far as Ionians themselves are concerned. But to outsiders, not so much, and if you ask the Noxians they tell you even less. But there is something special about the gardens that just rejuvenate the body of those who stare at the trees as liquid tranquility flows through their veins. That's some people would describe it. Of course, being a sacred place among many, there are those who seek to protect that which is important to them. One particular individual goes by the name of Gaigahn. A monk of the Meijitsu Order, he saw it upon himself to protect the Meijitsu Gardens, the place from which the order of monks borrows their name. Though his fellow practitioners were largely concerned with their teachings, Gaigahn always believe that the beauty that Gardens shows holds more knowledge than anything any Ionian monastery can teach, something deep in the ground that is biding its time to reveal itself. Though he was never berated for his behavior, he wasn't exactly praised for it either, but he was given the freedom to do as he believed. Spending most of his time admiring the Gardens, it's easy to see him as someone who would neglect his teachings. However, this was far from the case, as Gaigahn never sacrificed what he learned just to spend most of his time in the Gardens, and this would prove the most during the Noxian Invasion. What seemed like yet another beautiful day, basking in the beauty of the trees, was instead a battle with bloodthirsty warmongers. As all the monks of the Meijitsu Order held their ground, Gaigahn among them, there risen the protector from below the ground. Big as the trees themselves and made of rock, fueled with the life force of Ionia, it fought alongside the monks. The battle was unending, and the Noxians prevailing; the protector fell to the ground among the many bodies. Surely, the day is lost, but Gaigahn refused to relent. Standing beside the rocky remains of the protector, he saw a glow coming from within. Climbing to the top and staring at what's within, there he saw the bright green heart of the protector, the very source of its power, which is life force of the lands. Gaigahn did not think but to reach out to the heart and touch. It was then that he felt a surge of power coursing from underneath his skin and through his vein. An explosion erupted, catching the attention of all on the battlefield. Once the dust has faded, what was revealed was the union of two beings who will protect this land to the very end. Now wearing the husk of the fallen protector, Gaigahn has been given the power to return the invaders from whence they came, and those that refused, lost their lives. Though many monks and trees have fallen, the Meijitsu Gardens are largely intact. Now, the Meijitsu Order will have to rebuild what was ruined, and t damage done will not discourage them. They will become stronger so that next time, even less will die, whether it's the trees or the lives surrounding them. Though for the time being they can rest easy knowing that their new protector will defend the Gardens to his very last breath. With his chakram and the blessing of the lands, Gaigahn is the new protector of the Meijitsu Gardens for the forseeable future.
Appearance:
Being a Juggernaut, it may or may not come as a surprise that even before his transformation, Gaigahn was a large man. After his transformation, he wears attire typical of an Ionian monk, although since he comes from a different order than Lee Sin, they probably don't dress the same. His clothing is partially covered by the rocky husk of the protector, with a green light illuminating from the cracks. His eyes also glow green to signify that he possesses that power. His weapons are two chakrams, holding one in each hand.

Abilities
Chakram Master
Gaigahn fights with his two Chakrams, holding one in each hand. Basic attacks with Chakram are ranged while basic attacks without them are melee, which will only happen when Gaigahn isn't holding any Chakram. Each basic attack with a Chakram will dispense it and embed it in the target. Gaigahn may retrieve the Chakram by either moving 1400 units away from the Chakram embedded in the target or performing a melee attack against the Chakram-embedded target, which will also deal 14.9 (+1.25 every level) (+100% bonus AD) bonus physical damage to the target immediately and heal Gaigahn for 7% of his missing health over 3 seconds for every Chakram pulled out of the target.
Notes:
Manifested Blade
50 mana (+5 every rank) | 12 seconds (-1 every rank) | 925 Target Range | 200 Width | 2600 Travel Speed | 0.6 Cast Time
Gaigahn throws a Spirit Chakram in a target direction, passing through all non-champion units and stopping on the first champion hit, dealing 40/80/120/160/200 (+75% AD) physical damage, slowing them by 40% for 1.5 second and remaining embedded in them for 5 seconds. The Spirit Chakram is considered a Chakram for the purpose of interacting with Chakram Master, Cutting Cyclones, and Metallic Pull but is otherwise independent and therefore not part of Gaigahn's basic attack function. The Spirit Chakram will not fade if any of the ability it interacts with is in the process of taking effect.
Notes:
Cutting Cyclones
60 Mana (+5 every rank) | 10 seconds (-1 every rank)
Gaigahn spins all Chakrams embedded in targets. Over 5 seconds, the targets take 35/45/55/65/75 (+20% AD) (+4/4.5/5/5.5/6% of target's maximum health) physical damage for every Chakram embedded in them. For the duration of Cutting Cyclones, Chakrams cannot be returned to Gaigahn, but upon being able to again the healing from Chakram Master is increased by 6/7/8/9/10% for every second Cutting Cyclones was active. The effect will end prematurely if Gaigahn reactivates the ability or a target with Chakram(s) embedded in them moves 1100 units away from Gaigahn.
Notes:
Metallic Pull
80 Mana | 18 seconds (-1.25 every rank) | 0.25 Cast Time
Gaigahn pulls in all targets embedded with Chakram 150 units towards him plus an additional 75 units for every Chakram embedded in the target beyond the first, all the while dealing 20/27/34/41/48 (+20% AD) physical damage to them for every embedded Chakram.
Notes:
Protector's Blessing
100 Mana | 60 seconds | 300 Target Range (active) | Angle: 50° (active) | 300 Effect Radius (passive) | 0.3s Cast Time
Passive: Gaigahn has 2 health bars, with the second one being equal to 25/30/35% of his maximum health. Upon taking lethal damage, Gaigahn removes the Husk of the Protector by exploding, dealing 100/175/250 (+75% AP) magic damage to all enemies around him and revealing his second health bar. Landing a takedown while the second health bar is present will restore 100% of the second health bar's missing health over 7 seconds. Upon healing beyond the maximum threshold of the second health bar and waiting at least 12 seconds during it, Gaigahn reverts back to the first health bar at 10% of his maximum health. Upon returning to the first health bar, Gaigahn cannot use the second health bar again for another 50/45/40 seconds (affected by ability haste).
Active: Gaigahn releases magic energy in a short cone, dealing 100/200/300 (+75% AP) magic damage to all enemies hit.
Notes: Let me just say this right now: the two layers of health is not like Kled. The second health bar is only revealed once Gaigahn takes lethal damage. Also, there will be a visual indicator on the health bar when Gaigahn has his second health bar on standby, similar to how there's an icon that signifies that a player has a passive revive such as Guardian's Angel or Anivia's or Zac's passive.
