Marsoch
Primary Role: Specialist
Secondary Role: N/A
Background
Lore:
To this day, the Legend of the Three Sisters remains shrouded in mystery. And the Iceborn even more so. For the Iceborn that served under the rule of the Sisters were nothing more than ants; numbers whose existence are naught but to further the goal of those they followed. Perhaps that is the reason why there are no chronicles of significant soldiers among the first Iceborn. As they are all lost today to myths and tales told at night for Freljordian youth. However, those that have been in the days of past know full well of the ones that stood at the top, and especially one in particular. Marsoch, General of Serylda's legion, loyal to his frozen bones, obliterating all who stood in way of the Mute Queen with swords and chains of ice. Alas, the legacy that is Marsoch died with the betrayal of Lissandra, as he, like his comrades, was frozen in True Ice. Ice that can never melt… but can be shattered. Entombed in ice with no hope as millennia passed by, Marsoch would often hear a faint sound. The sound was vague and unintelligible. But as time went on, it became more and more clear. Until it could be heard in its entirety: "You must succeed!". And then, a crack on icy prison! And every time that familiar voice repeated that same sentence, the crack on the ice would grow bigger and bigger. Until one day, the ice shattered, and Marsoch free! Standing once more, he tries to find the meaning behind those words he heard all these eons. Of course, he knew that the voice belonged to his queen, whom he will never doubt. But finding himself in a word he is unfamiliar with, Marsoch is confused. Nevertheless, he remains determined to bring back the glory that was once Serylda. So he will tread upon the frozen lands once more, and discover this new world and its inhabitants. For he will pave the way for Serylda's return… in time.
Appearance:
Marsoch is a tall Iceborn soldier whose skin turned light blue due to the intense cold he suffered not only during his servitude to Serlyda, but also during all those eons he was trapped inside the True Ice. The lower half of his Iceborn armor (pants) remains intact completely. However, the upper half was shattered along with the ice he was imprisoned in, with only fragments of the armor remaining. He wears a cloth around his mouth, which is meant to mimic Serylda's muteness, and a hood above his head, leaving only his eyes and nose visible. He has frozen chains coiled around his left arm and he holds an ancient Freljordian sword in the other.

Abilities
Frozen Bones
Whenever Marsoch is applied a slow, stun, or root, his next basic attack or damaging ability within 20 seconds will apply that same type of crowd control. Slows are for 60% that last 2 seconds. Stuns and roots last for 1 second.
Notes:
Remnants of the First Iceborn
8 seconds (-0.5s every rank)
Marsoch empowers his next basic attack to deal 10/15/20/25/30% increased base damage and have 50 increased range. While Remnants of the First Iceborn is active and within the vortex of Cold Wind of Eons Past, the empowered basic attack gains stacks of Frozen Shards, which grants 15/20/25/30/35 (+7% AD) bonus damage and 10 range per stack, up to a maximum of 5 stacks. If the empowered attack with at least one stack of Frozen Shards hits an enemy that has at least one stack of Frozen Shards, then 50% of the damage is converted to true damage. The ability goes on cooldown after 5 seconds if not used but the timer pauses when inside Cold Wind of Eons Past.
Notes: The increased base damage portion applies only to the base damage and nothing else.
Cold Wind of Eons Past
24 seconds | 325 Effect Radius | 0.1s Cast Time
Passive: Marsoch uses Cold instead of mana. Marsoch has a fixed maximum amount of 100 Cold which replenishes completely every time he returns to the fountain.
Active: Marsoch conjures a glacial vortex that spins clockwise for 7 seconds. Afterwards, the core of the vortex lingers indefinitely and is powered by Cold. Marsoch can right-click the core of the vortex to fuel it, expending 4 Cold per second, with each point increasing the spinning duration by 5 seconds.
Enemies caught in the vortex while it is spinning are applied a stack of Frozen Shards every second, up to a maximum of 5 stacks. Basic attacks expend the stacks, dealing 10/15/20/25/30 (+5% AD) bonus physical damage per stack. Stacks linger for 3 seconds after the enemy has left the vortex and once expended, cannot be applied to the same target for 2 seconds. Basic attacks against enemy minions below 50% health that have 5 stacks are executed and grant Marsoch 5 Cold. If the empowered attack from Remnants of the First Iceborn has at least one stack of Frozen Shards and it hits an enemy that has at least one stack of Frozen Shards, then 50% of the damage is converted to true damage.
Marsoch gains 100% multiplicative bonus movement speed when moving with the current of the vortex. Enemies that move against the current of the vortex are slowed for 40% for as long as they move against it.
Notes: the remaining spinning duration is represented by a white bar over the core which depletes over time, similar to that of a ward.
The General's Reputation
18 seconds (-0.75 every rank) | 150 Width | 800 Range | 0.25 Cast Time
Marsoch throws frozen chains in a target direction, dealing 70/120/170/220/270 (+100% AP) magical damage to the first enemy hit, stunning them for 0.3 second and subsequently pulling them in 150 units towards Marsoch. Inside the vortex of Cold Wind of Eons Past, the chains pass through all minions, stopping only on the first champion hit. Frozen Bones is only applied after the pull.
Notes:
!Hail Serylda
120 seconds (-20s every rank) | 800 Range | 0.4s Cast Time
Marsoch leaps to a target enemy champion. Upon contact, he deals 150/325/500 (+ 80% AD) physical damage to them and whatever crowd control he currently has from Frozen Bones.
