Although born to the Lunari, Selene could not help but feel the wrong that is the dissonance between her people and the Solari. However, it was her compassionate and altruistic nature that led her to be chosen by the Aspect of the Eclipse. With the power of union and alignment of all things, she sought to create an alliance between the two warring factions. However, upon organizing the conference which she believed will be the start of a new relationship, she realized how timid she was, but didn't want to believe it. There they stood… several Solari and Lunari on opposite sides somewhere in Mount Targon. As they stared at each other, saying nothing, it didn't take long for the atmosphere to becoming heavier. And with a moment's notice, a fight broke out. Seeing as how everyone cared not but to slaughter each other like Noxians to war, Selene realized her naiveté. She wasn't meant to be a peacebringer, even though she was chosen by the aspects. Overcome with sorrow and with the goal to prevent a war, Selene obliterated everyone in the vicinity with the light of both the sun and moon, leaving neither witnesses nor bodies. The events of what have unfolded would later become a myth to tell the young of the mountains. Was there really an Aspect of the Eclipse? No one knows; No one remembers; No one exists to remember, as Selene was never seen again from that day onwards. Although those beyond the mountains might have seen young woman clad in Targonian walking somewhere on the grounds of Shurima because in truth, Selene is very much alive. Now by herself, she wanders the vast continent in search of a new home, all the while training her mind to overcome her weaknesses, never again falling victim to timidity, with the power of the eclipse still by her side. And as she continues her journey, that day has taught her one thing for certain: compassion is for fools.

 

Appearance:

Selene is a young woman somewhere in her mid-20s. One side of her butt-length black her is tied into a ponytail, while the other side is flowing, representing the duality and asymmetry of both sun and moon (not directly symbolic of the sun and moon's shapes, but just representing duality and asymmetry). She wears an attire mixed with the elements of both the Solari and Lunari, representing her loyalty to neither, but instead representing her heritage as a Targonian, something she hadn't forgotten. Her cloths are partially torn to represent her willing disconnection to both of the factions, as she is no longer associated with them.

Every 150 seconds, Selene switches between Sun Mode and Moon Mode.

Successfully landing an ability on an enemy champion will make Selene blink 450 units in a desired direction. This effect cannot trigger on the same champion for 28/26/24 (levels 1/7/13) seconds (affected by cooldown reduction). Successfully landing an ability on an enemy champion who's currently on cooldown will decrease the remaining cooldown by 2 seconds.

Notes: The blink is performed simply by moving.

If ability happens to hit 2 enemy champions at once, then it will only trigger the effect on one champion.

The abilities have a different visual appearance based on whether it's Sun Mode or Moon Mode

Selene shoots out a construct of cosmic energy in a line, stopping on the first enemy hit and dealing 80/130/180/230/280 (+95% AP) to all enemies in an area.

If the projectile comes into contact with the area of the Solar Body, then it will deal a percentage of the damage of the initial attack based on the amount of damage absorbed within the area of effect of Manifestation of Duality.

If the projectile is shot from within the area of the Lunar Body, then it will deal increased damage based on the amount of stacks, expending all stacks all the while.

Selene summons either Solar Body or a Lunar Body at a target location, depending on whether it's Sun Mode or Moon Mode.

The Solar Body is powered by 100% of all post-mitigated damage dealt to any unit within its area of effect, up to a maximum of 1000 damage. When coming into contact with Light of Alignment, it will return 6/7/8/9/10% of the damage of the projectile for every 100 absorbed damage within the area of effect.

While Selene within the area of effect of the Lunar Body, she gains stacks every second, up to a maximum of 10 stacks. Each stack yields 6/7/8/9/10% damage increase on the next activation of Light of Alignment. Upon leaving the area of effect, the stacks will linger for 1 second, before gradually depleting at a rate of 1 stack per second. Stacks will only take effect and subsequently expended from within the area of effect.

Notes: The amount of damage absorbed in the Solar Body is represented by its changing colors based on the amount of damage it absorbed. Whereas the stacks of the Lunar Body are represented by an icon above Selene's head and a number representing the amount of stacks.

The "bodies", which comes from celestial bodies, take the appearance of a miniature sun and moon, respectively.

Selene conjures cosmic energy at a target location, dealing 70/100/130/160/190 (+70% AP) magic damage to all enemies in an area. This ability does not trigger the effects of Manifestation of Duality.

Solar Body: Releases an explosion in an area, dealing 150/250/350 (+50% AP) magic damage to all enemies. The damage is increased by 10% for every 100 damage absorbed, expending all absorbed damage on activation.

Lunar Body: Selene targets an enemy champion. After a 1 second delay, Selene launches several lunar projectiles at the target, with each dealing 60/80/100 (+11% AP) magic damage. Each stack increase the number of projectiles shot. Regardless, Selene will launch at least 3 projectiles and will expend all stacks upon use.

On both modes, the target range and area of activation happens from the center of either body. Despite this, Selene has to be within 450 units of either body in order to activate this ability.
