Lore:

Golems come in varying shapes and sizes, as well as purposes. Whether they're big or gargantuan, made of metal, rock, or even a gelatinous substance, made for physical activities, intellectual studies, or any other profession, no two Golems are the same, but the one thing that they all have in common is their identity as artificial beings. Of course, it would be possible to say that every individual Golem is unique by itself, except for those designed to be part of a mass-produced product line which, more often than not, are mostly located in Piltover. Known for its technological advantage over the rest of Runeterra, the City of Progress houses many types of Golems. But in the eyes of Amir Sharpe, one of many engineers that Piltover has to offer, all these Golems would not suffice, whatever they were meant to do. In his vision, he sought to create a mechanical wonder that would be considered revolutionary, something that would be more than enough. So after days upon days of a seemingly never-ending brainstorm under the ceiling of his house, an idea sparked in his head: a Golem fueled by oxygen! Such a marvel wouldn't need to stop to have its resource tank refilled all the time, be it fuel or coal or anything else, as it would constantly reinvigorate itself with the air around it. So after several months, Sharpe created what would be the prototype for what he deems the future of Golems, and he would name him Sharpie, a name that mostly stems from narcissism and a lack of creativity. Alas, Sharpe's joy would be shortlived, as a sudden blaze erupted in his building, which collapsed the house onto him, burying him under a pile of burning debris. Some time has passed, and Sharpie would be recovered from the rubble, as well as all the other things there. Still inactive, the investigators that recovered him I had no idea what kind of Golem they were looking at. Nonetheless, they decided to activate him, as another Golem will always be helpful to society. Now functional, Sharpie moved about aimlessly, knowing not what to do, trying to understand his surroundings. Neither the Golem himself nor his supervisors could tell what he was meant to do. After several endeavors, No one could still figure out what Sharpie was meant to do, even though it was clear that he ran on a never-before-seen oxygen-powered engine. Revolutionary as he may be, he was planned to be deactivated, but not until he tries one last thing: an expedition to Ixtal, something that Piltover is very fond of. So there he was, deep in the jungle, together with a crew, doing whatever they're supposed to be doing on any expedition. Everything went normal… until a dragon showed up. Easily dispatching the guards, all seemed lost at the dragon's might. But seeing the violence unfold before him, something triggered within Sharpie's inner mechanism. With the air around him to power him up, he rushed to face the dragon, and with a single pneumatic punch, sent the dragon flying through the trees, carving a path of destruction. The dragon fled the scene immediately, and the expedition was saved, thanks to the Golem whom no one knew what he was supposed to do… until now. Sharpie is supposedly a combat-grade Golem, designed to take on dangerous tasks. After his display of might, Sharpie was assigned to all kinds of missions that required his oxygen-powered, utilized as a soldier of Piltover, even if that wasn't what he was meant for. Regardless, it's a shame Sharpe himself never had the chance to see the fruit of his hard work, because if he did, he would be proud… too proud, in fact.

Appearance:

Sharpie is a large golem colored black with tank wheels and a giant left fist designed for strong punches. All over his body are receptors for absorbing oxygen to power him up.

Lore:

The Dalika Beetles of the northeastern areas of Ixtal are known for two particular things, aside from their huge size: the first is the flammable pheromone they release during mating season, and the second is their odd behavior of offering their flesh and life as food to dying colony members. Though this might seem counterintuitive, these creatures are nothing more than large insects, which means that they can't consider what will benefit them on the long run, but only what their instincts drive them to do in the heat of the moment, as long as the colony continues to live. More so, they can become pretty hostile during mating season, which only happens during a given time of the year. Luckily, given the time of the mating season and the place in which they congregate, most people don't have the burden of dealing with these bugs. However, the same could not be said for a particular Piltovan expedition team, who found themselves in the unfortunate situation of being riddled with big bite marks. And if it weren't for Jackel it would've been even worse. A biochemist and an engineer by trade, Jackel was part the maintenance crew responsible for making sure that all the devices and vehicles ran without problem, though the only problem he regularly faced getting in between the small hatches due to his large size. Though his engineering skills proved useful, there was seemingly no reason for him to utilize his knowledge in biochemistry… that is, until the situation got worse. Realizing how the bad the problem that is the Dalika Beetles is, Jackel thought something should be done about it, since they weren't given the tools to properly deal with them when they departed from Piltover. And though it took him some time, he finally came up with something that might help: he extracted the flammable pheromone from the corpses of the beetles they managed to kill, and then built a device from whatever material he had to harness that flammability. What resulted were two sword-like gizmos that released concentrated fire, made from the engine of one of their excavators, affectionately named Toast & Roast. Though the initial idea was to burn the beetles' nest, what happened instead was something completely unprecedented, and even more beneficial to the team. As Jackel and a few other guards approached the nest, instead of being met with hostility, the beetles lined up and showed their respect by raising their heads skywards. Confused, Jackel soon realized that this was the response of the pheromone burning from the newly made twin engine swords. Though he thought this would make the job of eradicating the beetles easier, the goal would change instantly when the expedition team was attacked by native Ixtali. Quickly rushing back to camp, the group found themselves at a disadvantage, with many of the team already dead. All seemed lost, but as they approached Jackel and the few that stood beside him, the Dalika Beetles came crawling from behind them and under their feet, engulfing the native warriors with their body. Jackel and the rest followed up and Toast & Roast proved to be as effective against humans as they were supposed to be on the beetles. The team was successful in fending off the surviving natives, and the Piltovan's that were injured but alive had beetle force themselves into their mouths, as it was part of their nature. Their meat was effective in healing and killing the pain, if not a bit nasty on the tongue. With casualties and no resources left, the expedition will have to retreat home for now, as they have to recollect themselves after all the problem they had faced. But when they come back, Jackel will be by their side, with Toast & Roast to burn whoever stands in front of his large stature. But this time it will be a success, because the Dalika Beetles, who were once enemies, are now his allies. And he will make good use of this relationship, even if he has to take a bite out of them. After all… they won't mind.

Appearance:

Jackel is a large man, which may or may not be implied by his gameplay class as a Juggernaut. He wears a Piltovan attire typical of an engineer combined with elements of a biochemist, but with more emphasis on the former since that's why he was taken to be part of the expedition in the first place. Toast & Roast take the appearance fat swords created using the engine of a large excavator, with the blades not actually being blades, but mini flame pillars that appear like the blade part. Toast & Roast aren't initially lit when the game starts, but they do as the ultimate is ranked up and as combat goes on.

The Dalika Beetles are large Ixtali beetles. I imagined as a hybrid between a cockroach and a stinkbug. But otherwise, I don't have a specific description for them.

Lore:

The gardens of Ionia are a sacred place. Then again, all of Ionia is sacred, at least as far as Ionians themselves are concerned. But to outsiders, not so much, and if you ask the Noxians they tell you even less. But there is something special about the gardens that just rejuvenate the body of those who stare at the trees as liquid tranquility flows through their veins. That's some people would describe it. Of course, being a sacred place among many, there are those who seek to protect that which is important to them. One particular individual goes by the name of Gaigahn. A monk of the Meijitsu Order, he saw it upon himself to protect the Meijitsu Gardens, the place from which the order of monks borrows their name. Though his fellow practitioners were largely concerned with their teachings, Gaigahn always believe that the beauty that Gardens shows holds more knowledge than anything any Ionian monastery can teach, something deep in the ground that is biding its time to reveal itself. Though he was never berated for his behavior, he wasn't exactly praised for it either, but he was given the freedom to do as he believed. Spending most of his time admiring the Gardens, it's easy to see him as someone who would neglect his teachings. However, this was far from the case, as Gaigahn never sacrificed what he learned just to spend most of his time in the Gardens, and this would prove the most during the Noxian Invasion. What seemed like yet another beautiful day, basking in the beauty of the trees, was instead a battle with bloodthirsty warmongers. As all the monks of the Meijitsu Order held their ground, Gaigahn among them, there risen the protector from below the ground. Big as the trees themselves and made of rock, fueled with the life force of Ionia, it fought alongside the monks. The battle was unending, and the Noxians prevailing; the protector fell to the ground among the many bodies. Surely, the day is lost, but Gaigahn refused to relent. Standing beside the rocky remains of the protector, he saw a glow coming from within. Climbing to the top and staring at what's within, there he saw the bright green heart of the protector, the very source of its power, which is life force of the lands. Gaigahn did not think but to reach out to the heart and touch. It was then that he felt a surge of power coursing from underneath his skin and through his vein. An explosion erupted, catching the attention of all on the battlefield. Once the dust has faded, what was revealed was the union of two beings who will protect this land to the very end. Now wearing the husk of the fallen protector, Gaigahn has been given the power to return the invaders from whence they came, and those that refused, lost their lives. Though many monks and trees have fallen, the Meijitsu Gardens are largely intact. Now, the Meijitsu Order will have to rebuild what was ruined, and t damage done will not discourage them. They will become stronger so that next time, even less will die, whether it's the trees or the lives surrounding them. Though for the time being they can rest easy knowing that their new protector will defend the Gardens to his very last breath. With his chakram and the blessing of the lands, Gaigahn is the new protector of the Meijitsu Gardens for the forseeable future.

Appearance:

Being a Juggernaut, it may or may not come as a surprise that even before his transformation, Gaigahn was a large man. After his transformation, he wears attire typical of an Ionian monk, although since he comes from a different order than Lee Sin, they probably don't dress the same. His clothing is partially covered by the rocky husk of the protector, with a green light illuminating from the cracks. His eyes also glow green to signify that he possesses that power. His weapons are two chakrams, holding one in each hand.

Lore:

If you ever spot a bee in Zaun, there are only two possible places from where it might originate: the first, a rogue hive located somewhere in the sewers, developed over decades, maybe centuries, when a lonesome bee somehow made its way there, probably from a traveling merchant carrying honey. And the second, and the more likely type of bee to find, is from Hugo Bombus' apiary. Located in Factorywood, Bombus' bee farm is renowned for not only being the only honey maker in all of Zaun, but also for the type of bees it employs in the production of the honey. These are Daba Bees, originating from the southeastern portion of the continent of Shurima, just on the borders of Ixtal. How he got them? Nobody knows. But even more so, nobody cares, which is the most concrete thing anyone can say about Bombus and his hard working bees. Despite his hard work and quality products, most of it is exported to other locations in Runeterra, with the majority of Zaun remaining largely oblivious to the apiary's existence. Although one shouldn't blame the average Zaunite for their lack of knowledge of a particular bee farm, considering all the stress and enemies they have to deal with on a daily basis. But Bombus was satisfied with his position in life despite the obscurity, because the honey was fruitful and delicious, so he was rarely bothered. But if there was one person who was definitely bothered by constant company of stinging bees was Bombus' neighbor, Coppol. An impatient and disgruntled man over his inability to move out and start anew far away from Zaun, or "Runeterra's Trash Hole" as he likes to call it, the buzzing of the bees and hunch of impending stingers didn't quite help curb Coppol's crankiness. He and Bombus would have regular altercations which for the most part were innocuous, starting and ending only as arguments, never escalating to something drastic. Until one fateful day when a houseguest of Coppol almost died due to an allergic reaction after being stung, at that moment, Coppol was far from being tolerant, and decided to take matters into his own hands. So what did he do? Gassed the entire apiary of course, with no regard to anyone who was there at the moment. Bees and employees alike all succumb to the neurotoxin. But unexpectedly, this would be Coppol's undoing, as Bombus wasn't even there at that moment. But when he did come back, he was devastated to find out that everything was no more, not his employees; nor his bees; nor his honey. But the only glimmering light of retribution came in the form of a beehive separated from the rest of the apiary, located just behind Bombus' office, nurtured as a personal hobby of his without the necessity to produce honey. With nothing but revenge in his mind, Bombus took his only remaining beehive and visited a questionable scientist, the kind everyone hears of but advises to avoid. But Bombus had nothing to lose, so he told the scientist what he wants: "I want the bees to become monsters, and I want to become a monster among the bees". And with that, the procedure had begun and after several days, it was completed. Now a hulking walking incubator for monstrous bees, Bombus was ready to finish what his neighbor had started. But just he was about to step outside the scientist's residence, his name was called from behind him. As he turned back, he saw the scientist saying his farewell, and one more peculiar thing: "Send my regards to Coppol." Ever since that day, Coppol no longer had to worry about any bees buzzing his way, or anything else for that matter. But with the current problem solved, more problems make themselves realized. Bombus has to start anew. Where or how will he start? Only he can find out for himself. With a new body and new strength, he will have to discover where he wishes to propel his new life towards. If he so wishes to start a new apiary it will have to be away from Zaun, a city that's not too welcoming of those who seek a simple life. But even if he will do so, he can know for certain this time that no one will ever get in his way again. For he has the strength to enforce it, but more importantly… the bees that will sting those who walk to close to hive.

Appearance:

After his transformation, Bombus takes the appearance of a large humanoid that looks like a walking beehive, but the kind that houses murderous bees instead of cute-looking honey bees. I suppose he also wears a beekeeper attire to remind others that he's still a beekeeper at heart (so yeah, basically a giant walking beehive of killer bees wearing a beekeeper outfit). And the bees look monstrous (otherwise they wouldn't be monster bees).

Lore:

"The title of the strongest belongs to only one". That is what you are mostly likely to hear if you asked anyone in Runeterra who the strongest person is. After all, the definition of the word "strongest" is that there can only be one. Though some would like to believe that there is not strongest, as anyone is the strongest in of themselves, as much as they are the weakest, since every person has their strengths and weaknesses. However, if you were to ask specifically who that person is, that which possesses all the power to defeat any opposition befalls them, you would here different answers. If you asked a Targonian, they would say it's a god; if you asked a Noxian, they would say it's one of their generals; if you asked someone in Runeterra of a parallel universe, they would probably say something ludicrous like "it's some purple guy with a lantern". But if you asked anyone in Ixaocan, the capital of Ixtal, They would most definitely tell you that it is Ximkaya. A warrior among warriors, Ximkaya would through and through prove herself as the mightiest that Ixaocan had to offer. Always fending off intruders; always standing last during sparring sessions; always prevailing in all things combat. Though she took pride in her strength, for the most part, she did not have the opportunities to show it, as the Ixtali prefer to stay hidden from anyone who isn't their own. But where there was combat, Ximkaya would sure to rush over there to fight, whether the enemy be a monster or a man, or both. And as her career as a warrior continued, her fighting spirit grew as well, to the point where it became her obsession. Her fixation on combat grew so big that not only did she find every opportunity to fight, but also to the point where she desired to find someone strong enough to defeat her. Because Ximkaya believed that only through defeat may she become stronger, as already being the strongest did not suffice for her for whatever reason. However, where would the strongest warrior find someone who is even stronger than themselves? None apparently, as all the Ixtali and all the cretins of the jungles cannot stand equal to Ximkaya's might. With no hope of being defeated, Ximkaya sought to approach her problem from a different perspective. If she can't find someone stronger, then she'll just make it harder for herself to achieve victory. And she did exactly that, as she knew full well how to achieve that. Making her way to the Haraxa River, located northeast of Ixaocan, where the Haraxin subsides, one of the Ixtal's most dangerous parasites. Though this is what is told, it is not dangerous because it kills its victims, but because it turns them into takes control of them and turns them into monsters. But she has already decided, as she grabbed one from the river, big as a dog, and attached it to her back. Any other person would've already submitted to the parasite's control, But Ximkaya is not "any other person". With her sheer willpower alone, Ximkaya denied the parasite's control over her, even though it claimed her legs. But this is no easy task, as the two are constantly fighting for control over the same body. With an everlasting battle for her to be bothered with, the fights that will befall Ximkaya in the future will be even harder for her to overcome, as this never-ending disadvantage just might show her defeat, and through that, becoming even stronger. But who will find victory first? Ximkaya, who seeks to become stronger through defeat… or the parasite, he seeks to show her defeat for the last and only time in her life.

Appearance:

Ximkaya takes the appearance of an Ixtali woman transformed into a dark green plant monster of sorts. Her legs have been replaced with several plant-like tendrils. The Haraxin parasite which, as mentioned in the lore, is as big as a dog, sticks to her back by boring his appendages into her flesh. It also used its appendages to cover her breast which is otherwise bare, as she has no use for armor when she is what the parasite turned her into.

Lore:

If one were to enter the Void, they would most certainly not live to tell the tale. However, if one were to enter the Void and indeed make it out, their mind would be too shattered to ever communicate properly, let alone tell of its content. As far as anyone in Runeterra is concerned, the Void is nothing more than a violet nothingness, whose inhabitants are nothing more than agents of destruction. But what people don't know is that there is more to the Void than what it shows. The creatures who once inhabited it, who somehow made their way to Runeterra, somehow, somewhere, have a lot to tell of what transpires there, even if they can't sit down and talk to you about it. Does it have earth? Maybe. But there is one Voidborn in particular whose existence alone gives off the knowledge that there are indeed oceans inside the Void. Or at the very least, 'were'. Though his conquest continues to drain all the bodies of water in Void, Batz'Yab is attracted to what little moist environments remain. His life's work near complete, he suddenly found himself at a halt when he inexplicably found himself in Runeterra, much like some of his brethren. Now with more oceans to behold, his insatiable thirst will find a new liking to a new place. This drinker of seas will instinctively devoid the world of all forms of water, be they fresh or salt. And if he isn't stopped, Runeterra will be nothing but air and dirt. But who can?

Appearance:

Batz'Yab is a Voidborn (as if that wasn't obvious already), so it shouldn't come as a surprise that he's purple. He takes the appearance of what can be described as a hybrid between a T-rex and a gorilla. He has big reptile-esque arms and legs, and his head is more reptilian in appearance. He has two long tails which is roughly the same length as the rest of his body, each having stinger at the tip distinct from one another. He has a visible core on his chest.

His name means "That Which Becomes" in ancient Shuriman.

Lore:

Leonard Montgomery always had a propensity for the smithing, considering his large size and well-built stature. The people of Piltover would more often than not only come to his forge to watch him pound hot metal with his hammer, held by arms tougher than the metal he would flatten. However, Montgomery would never suffice for his talent of metalworking. Standing all day in the heat of the forge, repeating the same monotonous actions of pounding metals over and over. In secret, he always held an admiration for the technological science. Of course, how long could he have held that secret? Not long apparently, as he would eventually change his occupation to that of inventor, and tutored under the greatest minds of Piltover no less. Some years later, most of which as an apprentice to professors, Montgomery finally found the time and space to complete his first invention. Being all too familiar with hot environments, he sought to create a machine that would condense pure heat into a single location and subsequently convert it to Hextech energy, all the while lowering the temperature in the room. Tough it took some time, he finally made it. With his mentor as his only witness, he was ready to give the prototype a test run. However, what would be an exciting moment in a dream career would quickly turn into a life-changing event. As the machine went array, by the time Montgomery noticed something was wrong, it exploded. Now with his face in front of the floor, Montgomery found himself in a room full of hot mist. The left side of his body hurting severely; his skin burnt to a crisp of red. Confused and dazed, he looked around. He found his mentor dead, immolated beyond recognition. But more interestingly, he found the machine to be completely intact. Neither a scratch nor a wrinkle, it remains whole while its inventor is now left in confusion and despondence. Though it took him some time to get over the incident, he came back to the machine, and he couldn’t quite figure out why it malfunctioned. However, upon further inspection, he found something peculiar: the Hextech core he used was replaced with a dummy. What was even more interesting is that Montgomery knew who made it. It was the work of the Lost Children of Zaun, a group of misfits he is all too familiar with during his time in Zaun. With anger leading him, Montgomery took the machine he had with him now and modified it. Creating a suit and a hammer that would synergize with its mechanics, the machine, which he named the Shock-to-Heat Absorb-and-Convert, or SHOTHAAC for short, is now a device for reckoning and an agent of destruction. He took his new weapon as he carried it on his back, heading off to Zaun to figure out the truth. Hopefully, he can find it. But will it suffice?

Appearance:

Montgomery is a large, built man somewhere in his 30s wearing smith attire. He is bald, as he chose so since he used to work under hot conditions, but he kept it since he would eventually grow a liking to it. The left portion of his upper body has severe burn wounds, starting from the left side of his face and ending in his forearm. In his hands, he carries a large hammer of Piltover design, which is connected by an electronic tether to the SHOTHAAC, which he carries on his back. The SHOTHAAC takes the appearance of a large stove-like device which is roughly the size of the man carrying it (so yeah, pretty large). He also carries a bandolier of Hextech grenades.

Lore:

No one can tell how many corpses have been left in Noxus' wake, nor can anyone tell how many people of their own have they lost. To them, death is nothing more than a conduit to further their ambition of expanding their empire. They care little for who will die, they or the opposition, as long they move forward, never stopping, never distracted by the mountain of cadavers they leave behind. However, the twisted ideology of Noxus and their dogma of military enlistment don't just limit itself to humans, or any other sapient being for that matter. However, it would not have come to them were it not for their moral antithesis and mortal enemies, Demacia. Always standing against them, never relenting, it is very unlikely that there will ever be peace between these two great nations. But Noxus does learn from their experience and especially from that one battle where they nearly lost the entire platoon. Realizing that men is not enough to complete whatever task is given to them, Noxus aspired for something that's even more, how to say, obedient… but just as powerful as any other Noxian. Using their relations in Zaun, the Noxian higher-ups concocted a plan that would aid them very well in the future. Though it took several months, it finally happened: a pup. Everyone was at disbelief. What can an infant dog accomplish for the great nation of Noxus? Though it wasn't apparent at first, but this "pup", named Aeternus, would soon stand above most of the Noxian soldiers. He was no mere canine. Aeternus was in fact one of the most recent project of Zaun's greatest minds. A beast who is not only composed of Murk Wolf blood, from which it gains it's ferocity, but also that of a Badgerbear, chosen not only for their size, but also as a mockery to the proud nation of Demacia. With size, teeth and claws to his advantage, Aeternus started his training to become a Noxian soldier, in what would be the prelude to the death of many people in the future. Over the years, Aeternus joined many skirmishes and invasions, crushing bones with his massive jaws and eviscerating anyone who was unfortunate enough to get in his way. 22 years later, Aeternus has far exceeded the life expectancy of a regular canine, and he's still going strong, always hungry for more meat, only to pick it out between his teeth. However, this would soon change, as an old dog can only go on so much. During one invasion, seemingly successful at first, one enemy managed to throw a grenade in a hopeless effort to save his home. As he closed his eyes, the last thing he saw was the explosion he had set off. If he were to live he would've taken pride in the fact that he had seriously injured Aeternus, one of Noxus' greatest contributors to its agenda. With his left front leg now amputated, there doesn't seem to be too much hope for an old dog past his time. How is an old dog past his prime with one leg missing going to catch prey between his teeth? Regardless of the answer, Aeternus was planned to be mercy killed, as his service to Noxus was now over. However, as the man in charge of his euthanasia came back to the chamber, only leaving for a moment, there he found something that would defeat any Noxian's expectations: eight dead bodies, mutilated beyond recognition, with the walls painted red and the ceiling decorated with viscera. And in the middle, a giant dog with three legs, breathing hard with bones stuck between his teeth. Amazed as though he saw the most beautiful in his life, the man now knew that putting Aeternus to rest would be a waste, as even in old age can he still take on several Noxian soldiers. So with the revelation of Aeternus' triumph over death, he was reinstated back to army. Though now equipped with a mechanical armor to further assist him in his crippled state, even when he's no longer able to run, Aeternus can still reach his prey, and once does, he destroys them between his massive jaws. For he might be old, but he refuses to die. Because old habits die hard. Or in this case, a giant dog.

Appearance:

Aeternus takes the appearance of a large brown canine with elements of both Murk Wolf and Badgerbear. As mentioned in the lore, the Badgerbear component is not only to contribute to its size, but also to symbolically act as a mockery to Demacia. He is missing his front left leg. He wears a mechanical armor around his torso to compensate for his newfound disability. Since he's old, his age shows in the form of white whiskers and slightly disheveled fur (basically regular signs of an old dog).

Lore:

Zaun isn't exactly known for its exquisite and well-developed culture; in fact, far from it. With the ever-present Zaun Gray polluting the air and everyone at each other's back with a knife at hand, it's no wonder this unruly state fails to make a positive name for itself. However, the inhabitants of it are more than accustomed to its conditions, if not entirely satisfied, as they somehow manage to go about their lives with as less problems as possible. And, if you asked some of them, they just might be able to tell you where to go for a good time… by their standards, of course. One of these places is Caleh's Cuisine. Located in Bridgewaltz, it is restaurant renowned for its fine meat. But the man who makes the meat, even more. Big as the elnuks he carves with his cleaver, Caleh would serve anyone indiscriminately in his restaurant. And for the truly desperate and poor, he would even offer a meal for free, most of which were orphaned children. But for those that take advantage of this creed, such insolent cretins would be shown the door with nothing at hand. Though a charitable and respectable man, unlike the average Zaunite, he would soon find himself changed forever, completely devoid of the hospitality that once made him, as it all started when Afail Kaisaf, one of the more eccentric Chem-Barons of Zaun, approached Caleh. In contrast to his slim stature, Afail was a man of fine taste who enjoyed a good meal. Fascinated by Caleh's dishes, he proposed that the renowned meal-maker would become his own personal chef. Though initially contemplative, Caleh quickly realized that this would mean living in better conitions. And with a handshake, Caleh's quality of life rose exponentially. Living in the estate of Zaun's most respected demography, life suddenly become less stressful. And he even got his very own assistant, a robot named Vase, which he mainly used refrigerate meat. Alas, the luxuries of living by the side of a Chem-Baron wouldn't last long. As what people don't know about Kaisaf is that he was a practitioner of forbidden magic, namely the type that connects to the Meadow of Crimson Clouds. This also explains why he has absolutely no physical augmentation, as he uses magic to sustain he fragile physique. But being the personal chef of Kaisaf, Caleh inadvertently eavesdropped on one of his sinister plan: to completely eradicate the lower layers of Zaun's society, among the orphaned children who would visit Caleh's Cuisine. Refusing to let it happen, Caleh snuck into the Baron's personal chamber on one convenient night, and found the grimoire that connected Runeterra to the Meadow of Crimson Clouds, Kaisaf's catalyst of all his accomplishments. Without even knowing what had transpired, Caleh found himself in a vast meadow of red, bathed in red light, the clouded skies as red as blood. It was the Meadow of Crimson Clouds, a realm inhabited by otherworldly beings who seek to establish "professional" relationships. But Caleh did not know what to do, as he found himself standing on red grass knowing not what to do. And from the distance, something was moving toward him. And as it closer, it suddenly became that it was some kind of monster walking on four legs, having no face but instead a hungry grimace filled with teeth. Introducing himself as the Glutton, he was attracted to the smell of fine meat that emanated from Caleh. The Glutton asked for food and in return, he will provide a favor. Caleh asked that he would kill the Kaisaf and his associates. The Glutton agreed, and with that the contract had been signed. So the time came when Kaisaf and his family would host party. And out of nowhere came the Glutton, with Caleh by his side, as he chewed and gorged on every one of them. And for the desert, a little girl. Crying in the corner helplessly, the Glutton could not hold back the waterfall of saliva that was drooling from his face of a mouth. But Caleh asked that he spare the girl, as she had no involvement in this ordeal. The Glutton refused, and Caleh was forced to fight him. Standing victorious and the Glutton now forced back to the meadow, Caleh soon felt an excruciating pain crushing his head. Whispering into his ear, the Glutton explained that he breached the contract that he agreed on, and therefore will have to wear the Crest of the Breacher. Now, Caleh must eternally offer tribute to the Glutton, lest he devours the world. When he came to, Caleh found himself amidst a gallery of mutilated corpses. With the girl he tried to save now gone, knowing not what had happen to her, he realized that he is now cursed. With the fate of the world now resting on his shoulders, Caleh must now kill make sure that no one else is killed, as he relinquishes the traits that once made him a nice man. Since there is no place for kindness among those that wear the Crest of the Breacher. But as he now kills, Caleh hopes that one day he can return to who he truly is: a man who enjoyed sharing his food with the world. But until then, he only thinks to himself: "Why didn't I read the contract?"

Appearance:

Caleh is a large man. He wears red Zaunite jeans-esque pants and a bloody butcher's apron over nothing, showing his exposed back. He Wears the Crest of the Breacher, which looks like a crude painful-looking crown with crude metallic horns coming out of various points of it. The Crest covers his scalp and eyes entirely. He holds in his hand the Coiling Heart, an impromptu weapon which is a customized metal stick coiled with several layers of razor wire. Vase takes the appearance of a mechanical vase, roughly half the size of Caleh, who walks on eight tentril-like electrical cords. The Glutton has the body of red-orange lion, but three times the size of it. As mentioned in the lore, his "face" is a giant human mouth with no lips, exposed teeth and a constant grimace.
